FAQs

Updated June 15, 2020

We are committed to reopening with the safety of our staff and community as our primary concern. Our operating procedures during this phased reopening will be consistent with State regulations governing fitness clubs, indoor sports and summer camp. In addition to following State protocols, Chelsea Piers has consulted independent medical consultants on our plans for reopening.

You can review the details of our Safety First Commitment including the changes we have implemented to provide everyone a clean, safe, and comfortable return to Chelsea Piers here.

In addition to all CT State guidelines, we are following all regulations from all competitive sport governing bodies on resuming sports this summer.

All employees, Members and program participants will be required to complete a mandatory Health Declaration online before each visit to Chelsea Piers to confirm they are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, nor have they come in contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms. If under age 18, a legal guardian will need to sign the Health Declaration for their child.

You will receive an email reminder to the email you use to access the Chelsea Piers Online System, the morning of your reservation with a unique link to sign your declaration. Using this link will make check-in seamless.

For our Competitive Athletes, your coach or Club Director will send the link to you.

If you have forgotten to complete the Daily Health Declaration before coming to Chelsea Piers you can access the form via QR code in the lobby.

At this time, we are following state guidelines which do not require asymptomatic individuals who have not been in contact with a known case of COVID be tested.
