Chuck Milot

Head Professional

Chuck grew up in Trumbull CT where he played tennis from the age of 8.  He played extensively on the USTA junior circuit and held rankings in the U12, U14 and U16 age groups.  Chuck played high school tennis at Fairfield Prep where he was Connecticut state open doubles champion in 1980.  After high school Chuck played on scholarship at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Maryland and rose to the number 1 position on the team in both singles and doubles.  Chuck’s teaching career began in 1985 as head professional at The Patterson Club in Fairfield.  In the winter months Chuck has coached at New Canaan Racquet club since 1985 and served as Head Professional from 2003-2015.  Chuck is currently the Head Professional at Woodway Country Club in Darien in the summer months.  He is a USPTA P-1 certified and has extensive experience coaching juniors and adults at all levels.  Chuck has also played an active role supporting the Norwalk Grass Roots Tennis through coaching and organizing fundraisers.
