Triathlon Camp

10:30am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday

Young multi-sport athletes learn the fundamentals of the sport of triathlon, including running form, endurance, swim stroke, bike handling skills, race preparation and most importantly, safety. All American triathlete and USAT certified coach Caitlin Drap work with young athletes, grouped into the Youth category (ages 6-11) and the Junior category (ages 12-16), to train and prepare the skills necessary for multi-sport competition.

All campers must be comfortable in deep water prior to camp. All campers must have their own bike. Athletes 12 – 16 must be comfortable riding without assistance; training wheels are fine for campers 7 – 11 years.

Drop-off: 10:00am-10:15am

Camp Features

  • A state-of-the-art and USAT certified training center with an Olympic pool, indoor track and turf field
  • Daily sessions in aerobic development, triathlon specific skills, technique/form focused sessions, safety and transition training

Lunches & Snacks

Chelsea Piers provides all full-day campers with nutritious, well-balanced lunches. All campers enjoy morning snacks.


Recreational Activities

Chelsea Piers campers receive a daily recreational period that uses the entire facility, making our camps the most unique in the area. Rec periods include fun in the Splash Zone water park & aquatics center, trampoline pit, rock climbing wall, ice rink, batting cages and more.


World-Class Instruction

In order to provide campers with the top level of instruction, our camps are run by expert coaches who include NCAA All-Americans, professional athletes and decorated coaches.

After Care

After Care is available for parents of full-day campers who need a little extra time at the end of the day. After Care runs 4:00pm – 5:30pm and costs $25/day or $100/ week. Advance or day-of registration for After Care option is available.

CAMP BUS

Campers from select Westchester towns can take advantage of bus transportation to and from Chelsea Piers. The option for transportation can be easily added to your online purchase of any full-day summer camp week.

FIRST-TIME CUSTOMERS

When creating a new account, please include all family members, not just those currently enrolling. DEPOSIT & BALANCE

At the time of registration, a $150 non-refundable deposit is required for each week of camp your child wishes to participate in. On May 1, 2017 all balances will be charged and going forward, all tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration.


CANCELLATION, CREDITS & REFUND POLICIES

Requests for camp cancellations and refunds (not including the non-refundable deposit) will be accepted through June 18. Refunds are not available starting June19. If your camper suffers an injury that prevents them from attending camp, you may submit authorized documentation and apply for a camp credit to camps@chelseapiersCT.com.

Credits will not be issued for absences, lateness, sickness, fatigue or family emergencies.

Members and customers who wish to change camp programs or camp weeks will be accommodated provided there is space available. There is a $25 transfer fee per child.
