Sports Academy Camp

Campers learn skills during dedicated 30-45 minute blocks for each sport throughout the day. Broken into groups by age and ability, children will learn and improve through drills, scrimmages and games. At the end of each week, campers participate in the Field House Olympic Games where they showcase what they’ve learned in a friendly, fun competition.

Camp Features

All campers will receive instruction in Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Baseball and Floorball. NOW campers can choose which stroke they want to perfect- their swimming stroke, or their tennis/ squash racquet stroke.

Aqua Track - Learn to Swim

Children in this track will receive daily swim instruction from our professional instructors where they will be introduced to or continue to work on being safe and comfortable in the water, while learning the 4 competitive strokes.

NEW Racquets Track - Acing & Boasting

In this dry land option, campers will learn to perfect their racquet stroke through daily instruction in either tennis or squash. In both, campers will learn different aspects of the game from grip to stroke development and game play tactics.


Lunches & Snacks

Chelsea Piers provides all full-day campers with nutritious, well-balanced lunches. All campers enjoy morning snacks.

After Care

After Care is available for parents of full-day campers who need a little extra time at the end of the day. After Care runs 4:00pm – 5:30pm and costs $25/day or $100/ week. Advance or day-of registration for After Care option is available.

After Care can be easily added to your online purchase of any full-day summer camp weeks, or call 203.989.1100.

Campers from select Westchester towns can take advantage of bus transportation to and from Chelsea Piers. The option for transportation can be easily added to your online purchase of any full-day summer camp week.

When creating a new account, please include all family members, not just those currently enrolling. Once the account is created, the system does not permit customers to add additional submembers themselves. To add sub-members after the fact, please call the Registration Desk at 203.989.1100. At the time of registration, a $150 non-refundable deposit is required for each week of camp your child wishes to participate in. On May 1, 2018 all balances will be charged and going forward, all tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration.


Requests for camp cancellations and refunds (not including the non-refundable deposit) will be accepted through June 17. Refunds are not available starting June18. If your camper suffers an injury that prevents them from attending camp, you may submit authorized documentation and apply for a camp credit to

Credits will not be issued for absences, lateness, sickness, fatigue or family emergencies.

Members and customers who wish to change camp programs or camp weeks will be accommodated provided there is space available. There is a $25 transfer fee per child.
