Full-Day Camps FAQs

If your child doesn't feel well, please do not send your child to camp. Our staff is also not allowed to come to work while sick. We ask that all camp families take their temperatures each morning and not come to camp if anyone in the family has a temperature above 100 F

If a camper has an observable illness (persistent cough, respiratory distress, sneezing), they will be isolated and the parent contacted immediately. If a camper or counselor is diagnosed with Covid-19, we will immediately report this to the health department and follow their direction. We will also notify families and staff with direct exposure (e.g. members of a camp group) immediately.
Chelsea Piers carefully groups children based on age and grade. This summer, camp groups include the same group of children each day, and the same childcare providers are with the same group each day. There will be limited mixing between groups, and we will continue to limit communal spaces and practice social distancing within each group.
