The Miracle Ball Method™ Comes to Chelsea Piers
We are excited to announce that Elaine Petrone, creator of The Miracle Ball MethodTM is bringing her class to Chelsea Piers Connecticut starting next week! We chatted with Elaine to learn more about how the method can relieve pain, reduces stress and reshape your body.
What is the Miracle Ball Method?
The Miracle Ball Method is the opposite of exercise. An MBM class will reduce excess muscle tension, allowing your body’s own alignment system to rebalance and adjust you.
What inspired you to create the method?
I developed this method out of my own experience with chronic pain.
Why did you bring The Miracle Ball Method Program to Chelsea Piers?
I’m so excited to have a new home for The Miracle ball Method program. Chelsea Piers has an amazing team of supportive, enthusiastic, fitness professionals along with a state-of-the-art facility. I look forward to having Chelsea Piers members in a class to experience the benefits of the method and to reach their fitness goals and improve the quality of their lives.
What are the benefits of taking this class?
This method takes the pressure off chronically stressed areas of the body such as the lower back, neck and shoulders. It is also excellent after a hard workout to prevent injuries or for those who struggle with anxiety or chronic pain. In addition, the method tones the muscles as the body reshapes into a longer leaner looking you.
Who is the class for?
Everyone. Young, old, fitness professionals, people who sit at a desk all day, you name it. Most humans experience some type of stress, some more than others. The Miracle Ball Method helps to bring stress levels down by learning how to use our body's innate sense of alignment to rebalance and heal.
What can members expect to do in a class?
As you go through a class you will find it's really quite simple if you allow your body to do the work for you. The ball is a tool that brings awareness to the different parts of our body in a more user-friendly way. By combining breathing, ball placements and whole body moves, this class will relieve tension, reduce stress and reshape your body! Comfortable and layered clothing are ideal. I will provide the balls, you provide the body!
The Miracle Ball MethodTM is offered at Chelsea Piers Fitness on Monday at 5:30pm and Thursday at 11:00am.
