You can update you profile information online by logging into your account, with the app, or by filling out a form at the Fitness Center front desk. You may also contact Member Services directly at memberservices@chelseapiersct.com.

You may freeze (temporarily suspend) your membership once per contractual year for a minimum of one (1) calendar month and a maximum of three (3) consecutive calendar months, in one-month increments. The monthly freeze fee is 25% of your monthly membership dues. If you are under an Annual commitment, your months on freeze are not counted towards your 12 months of payments due. All freeze requests are due by the 25th of the prior month to allow ample time for processing.

A completed cancellation form is required to initiate a membership cancellation and must be submitted by certified or registered mail to Chelsea Piers Connecticut. Credits or refunds are not available retroactively.

ANNUAL COMMITMENT: Membership may be terminated at any time after the initial 12 payment term.

MONTH TO MONTH COMMITMENT: Three (3) full payments either by EFT or Credit Card must be made before cancellation request can be submitted.

RELOCATION: If you relocate more than 25 miles away from Chelsea Piers Connecticut, you may cancel your membership with proof of relocation, such as a lease or deed to a house, or a letter from your human resources department stating you have been relocated to another region.

MEDICAL: If your doctor finds you medically unable to exercise for more than six months, you must provide a letter from your doctor. They do not need to include specifics in the letter, just their medical opinion that you are unable to work out for at least six months.
Online cancellation requests are not available. All cancellations must be done in person at the Membership Office or via registered or certified mail. This ensures you receive a confirmation that your cancellation has been received. The cancellation process is not complete until you receive a confirmation email.
The guest passes on your account are intended for use by your out of town family and friends. Should you have a local friend or family member that would like to try the gym (as a trial to determine if they would like to join), we are happy to allow them 2 complimentary entrances into the facility. These uses would not be deducted from your annual allotment. Please have your guest bring a photo ID and allow 5-10 minutes to process your guest in the membership office.
Your Chelsea Piers Rebate is activated by an eligible purchase. Please be sure to state that you would like to activate your rebate at the Point of Sale. For online purchases, please email memberservices@chelseapiersct.com to let us know. The purchase must be one transaction and cannot be membership dues or purchases in the café, juice bar and restaurant. Once the purchase is complete, the appropriate credit will be applied to your account within 72 hours. For purchases less than the amount of the rebate, the credit will be equal to the amount of the purchase and the remainder of the rebate will be forfeited.
The Chelsea Piers rebate must be used within 3 months of issuance and is non-transferable.
Perkville is our rewards program that allows our members to earn reward points for their activities at Chelsea Piers. Point earning activities include gym check ins, referring new members, and competing a Fitness Assessment. Members can redeem points for awards such as free smoothies, massages, personal training, and more! Learn more here.
Members can earn Perkville points for referring new member to join the Chelsea Piers Athletic Club (Single and Family only, no Youth). Referral points are not earned for referring former members who re-join. Your referral reward will appear in your Perkville account within 3 days of the day your friend joins. You must be an active member to receive referral rewards.
