Monica Concha

master Trainer

Monica was born in Lima, Peru and grew up on Long Island. She has been an athlete her whole life - playing field hockey, lacrosse, track & field, and softball. She has spent the last 10 years working at different health & fitness facilities as a personal trainer, group class instructor, and most recently had spent the last two years as a Personal Trainer Manager in Port Chester, NY.

As of September 2016, Monica joined the Chelsea Piers Athletic Club team. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, with specialized certifications in FMS 1+2, FRC*Ms, CFSC, USA Weightlifting, TRX Suspension Training, Mad Dogg Spinning, Speed & Agility and Kettlebell. Monica is currently working on finishing up her Precision Nutrition and CSCS certifications.

Monica enjoys all aspects of the fitness world, especially powerlifting and CrossFit. Her focus with each client is based on their individual goals while also improving movement patterns and overall health. She believes that an equal balance of strength training, cardiovascular fitness, & consuming real, wholesome foods is crucial to achieving and maintaining a lifetime of good health and happiness.
