Adult Basketball Leagues
NO ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUES UNTIL SUMMER 2022
Chelsea Piers Connecticut Adult Basketball Leagues offer adult players in Fairfield and Westchester Counties an opportunity to play competitive basketball in one of the finest sports environments in the country.
Games are played on our two "Floating" Aacer Maplewood basketball courts. The Courts at Chelsea Piers consistently delivers professionally managed and refereed games.
Four Seasons
- SPRING
April – June • Register in March - SUMMER
July – September • Register in June - FALL

League Features and Format
- "Floating" Aacer Maplewood basketball courts
- Indoor, air-conditioned Field House
- Professional league supervisors and referees
- Scorekeepers, electronic scoreboards and online standings
- 22-minute halves; 1 referees and 1 scorekeeper per game
- 8 players minimum
- All players must be at least 18 years old
- 4 seasons per year with skill divisions

Relax post-game at All Star Bar and Grill located directly downstairs from the Field House.
5 ON 5 ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUE RULES
All Chelsea Piers CT gymnasium rules will be enforced
- Proper attire must be worn at all times. No jewelry of any kind, including wristbands.
- You need 4 players to start a game. 5 players must be present by half time.
- If a team does not have 4 players ready to start the game the clock will begin to run
- Teams will have 5 minutes from the scheduled start time to get their 4th player or the game is a forfeit.
- The team that is ready to play receives 2 points and 1 point for every additional minute.
- When players from the late team show up, the clock stops and the game then begin.
- The first games of the night ( 7 PM starts will get a 5 minute grace period)
- If one fouls out and you have no subs, you will play with four players.
- It takes 6 personal fouls to foul out of the game.
- If a team does not have 4 players ready to start the game the clock will begin to run
- Games will consist of two 22 minute halves
- Running clock.
- The clock will stop the last minute of each half.
- Half-time will be 2 minutes.
- Warm-ups before the game will be a maximum of 5 minutes.
- Each team will be given 45 second Time out in the first half and two 45 second time outs in the second half.
- The first half time-out will not be carried over into the second half if it was not used.
- You will get one time-out for each overtime
- Game time outs will not carry into overtime.
- The first overtime will be 2 minutes.
- The first minute will be running time and the second minute will be stop/start.
- If any other overtimes are needed they will be for a minute stop/start.
- Foul Shots- a team will be in the bonus when the other team has committed seven team fouls. After the 10th team foul a team will be in the double bonus.
- Technical fouls will be two shots and the ball.
