Hands for Life

The City of Stamford is hoping to set a World Record by training more than 10,000 people in hands only CPR. The 15-minute free training will take place in the Field House at Chelsea Piers Connecticut. The event runs from 8:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday, August 25. Come out and become a lifesaver.

Health Wellness & Sports Expo 2012
September 22 & 23, 2012 • 11:00am - 5:00pm
The Health Wellness & Sports Expo 2012 will feature nearly 75 exhibitors plus fitness, dance and flywheel demos, celebrity athletes and more. Exhibits will cover alternative medicine, integrated nutrition, weight management, children's health, pet wellness, fitness programs, spa and beauty treatments, financial health, green technology, lifetime sports and more. Admission is free. Those who bring in one or more nonperishable food items will receive a free raffle ticket to win a healthy door prize. Or raffle tickets can be purchased for $5. All food and proceeds will be donated to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the weekend.
